Con un totale di 581 spiagge, 15 porti turistici e sei operatori di turismo marittimo sostenibile quest’anno la Grecia si aggiudica il secondo posto nel mondo, tra 53 Paesi in gara per le Bandiere Blu.Prima per numero di riconoscimenti totali, la prefettura di Halkidiki con 96 bandiere, seguita da Attica, Creta e Rodi.
La percentuale della Grecia delle 4.194 "Bandiere Blu" assegnate in tutto il mondo è del 14%.
